About Nicolas Noulin, PhD

20+ years in virology. 15+ years shaping clinical development and human challenge programs.

Nicolas Noulin, PhD, is a clinical science and virology leader with more than 20 years across infectious diseases and over 15 years advancing vaccine and antiviral programs from translational strategy through Phase I–II.

As Director, Clinical Science at hVIVO from 2019 to January 2026, following senior virology roles since 2010, he helped design, execute and interpret controlled human infection studies across RSV, influenza, hMPV, rhinovirus and SARS-CoV-2.

His experience spans GMP challenge-agent development, protocol and endpoint design, sponsor representation, ethics and regulatory interactions, CRO and vendor oversight, and decision-ready scientific communication for biotech, pharma and CRO teams.
